Training involves specific, predetermined goals, measurable results and an individualized plan to achieve them. Any other strategy is simply haphazard. Sets, reps, weights, frequency, volume, tempo and progress are all documented and reviewed. Short term and long term goals are met within set time frames. When you train there is a purpose.
